La Leyenda (translates to ‘The Legend’) is a cheese producer in Spain. In order to represent the specialty of their refined cheeses, this packaging concept for their cheese wheels is inspired by circular stained glass windows in Spanish cathedrals.

Each cheese type has a different cut out pattern on the lid that reflects the type of cheese; goat cheese has triangular shapes to represent hooves, and the Iberico cheese pattern uses round leaf like shapes to reference the soft earthy flavors of the cheese. A ‘Product of Spain’ stamp and a ribbon coming out from under the lid adds to the specialty of the package.
