Taking Flight Invitation

Pegasus Contemporary Ballet is a new dance company in Dallas, TX. Their launch party event “Taking Flight” invites its guests with an elegant reference to their namesake, the red Dallas pegasus. Once the red envelope is opened, the contents of the invitation are stacked under a red feather and are tied together in black ribbon in the style of a ballerina’s shoe.

When the ribbon is undone, three panels make up the invitation. The ballerina silhouette in the center is illustrated posing in ballet’s fifth position, ready to take flight with outstretched red pegasus wings that spread into all three panels.
