The assignment was to create an illustration to go along with an article. The article chosen from The Atlantic addresses discoveries in space and the fact that no life outside of Earth has been found. The closeup of the astronaut with the small Earth and moon in the reflection highlights humanity’s loneliness in the universe… so far.
